Obituary for Guy Livingston Hainds, Sr

Guy Livingston Hainds, Sr, 67, of Imlay City, died Saturday, January 20, 2018.
Guy was born in Almont, Michigan on August 21, 1950 to William & Ruth (Hardwick) Hainds. He graduated from Dryden High School, class of 1969. He married Belinda Brady on August 4, 1972 in Metamora. Guy worked at Champion Home Builders in Dryden but eventually moved over to Champion Bus in Imlay City. In 1990, Guy left Champion and worked for several bus manufacturing facilities including: Eldorado National, Flexible and Detroit City Bus. The last few years of his career Guy worked for Goshen Bus in Elkhart, Indiana. Guy retired in 2013. Guy was a member of the Metamora Fire Department for many years and the Imlay City Fire Department for a few years.
Guy is survived by his wife, Belinda Hainds; five children: Amanda (John) Speck of Metamora, Betty Carr of Attica, Angela (Brian) Rosczewski of Brockway, Guy L. (Cindy) Hainds, Jr and Dallas (Tiffany) Hainds of Imlay City; eighteen grandchildren; one great grandbaby on the way !; mother-in-law, Delores Brady of Lapeer. Guy was preceded in death by his sister, Viola Hainds; father-in-law, Don Brady and his parents.

A memorial service will be held 5:00PM Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Metamora Lions Hall, 3790 North Oak, Metamora, Michigan 48455.
